At Porasfer S.A.S., with Tax ID 1793218045001 and registered office at Av. Amazonas N34-451 and Av. Atahualpa, Antares Building, 7th floor, Quito, Ecuador, we take the protection of your personal data seriously. This policy describes how we collect, use and protect the information you provide us through porasfer.com.
1. Data controller
The controller of your personal data is Porasfer S.A.S., incorporated in 2026, with registered office in Quito, Pichincha, Ecuador. For any enquiry you can write to hola@porasfer.com.
2. Data we collect
We collect the following data: full name and email address you submit through the subscription form; technical data such as IP address, browser type, operating system and pages visited; and interaction data with our emails (opens and clicks).
3. Purposes of processing
We use your data to send you our educational newsletter, respond to enquiries, improve site content, comply with legal obligations in Ecuador and analyse visitor behaviour in aggregate form.
4. Legal basis
We process your data based on your explicit consent (when subscribing to the newsletter or accepting cookies), on the performance of the subscriber relationship, and on compliance with Ecuador's Organic Personal Data Protection Law (LOPDP, Official Register Supplement 459 of 2021).
5. Retention period
We keep your data as long as you remain subscribed to the newsletter and up to two years after unsubscription, unless a longer retention is legally required. Aggregated analytical data is kept for up to 24 months.
6. Recipients
Your data may be processed by hosting, email delivery and web analytics providers, all bound by a data processing agreement. We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties for commercial purposes.
7. International transfers
Some of our providers have servers outside Ecuador. When this occurs, we require adequate safeguards under the LOPDP and, where applicable, standard contractual clauses.
8. Your rights
You can exercise at any time your rights of access, rectification, erasure, opposition, restriction and portability by writing to hola@porasfer.com with a copy of your ID or passport. You can also lodge a complaint with the Superintendency of Personal Data Protection of Ecuador.
9. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data: encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, backups and periodic security reviews.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect legal changes or service improvements. We will always publish the current version with its update date.
